Argus-Search Inc. History

Argus-Search Inc. was established October 2003 after it's parent company, Argus Services Inc was sold. We offer two Criminal Databases, SSN Address Records, County Criminal, Bankruptcy Liens & Judgments, Driving Records, Education, Employment, Reference and Professional Verifications. We provide these services to clients across the nation including manufacterers, staffing, technical, educators, county departments, etc.

Over the years Argus-Search has seen a tremendous breach of social security numbers. So, in January of 2008 we launched  www.checkmyssn.com .  The public can now order their own SSN information.  We have reformatted the report to not reveal anyone's identity but give enough information so that the owner of the SSN can determine if their SSN is being used fraudulently.
